چکیده
Abstract For an X-ray room, there is a special window for radiation workers to monitor the patient during irradiation procedure. Lead glass commonly used as protective materials diagnostic X-rays even it known its toxicity due lead oxide in air which could be inhaled either manufacturing or recycled process. Monte Carlo simulation (EGS5 code) was study several other types of available windows shielding efficiency. In this study, practicability acrylic glass, plate and Pyrex systems with respect were studied materials. The photon attenuation coefficients (?), percentage transmitted reflected energy spectra half-value layer (HVL) investigated by using simulation.
